204, Rigsbee Avenue, Five Points, Durham, Durham County, North Carolina, 27701, United States of America Map

Manzoor Cheema and Q Wideman from MERI and MSJ (Movement to End Racism and Islamophobia and Muslims for Social Justice) will take us through a 90-minute workshop to ground us in what Islamophobia is and how it operates. This will include time for questions and discussion about what actions we can take, including how we might bring a workshop to our organizations and communities. We’ll also talk about what support we need moving forward to continue to take informed action to disrupt Islamophobia.

SUNDAY, February 28 from 4-6:30 in downtown DURHAM at 204 Rigsbee Avenue; we have space for 20 people, so please RSVP to temajonokun@gmail.com. We’ve also committed to raising $250 for MERI/MSJ so please come prepared to make a donation of any size ($1-$50).
