We’re excited to announce our first meeting for the Gentrification/Affordable Housing Working Group!

The evening will kick off with a presentation from Mels Norton on the history of gentrification in Durham. From there, we’ll jump into conversation about how we envision the role of white people in combating gentrification. And finally, we will close with ideas for our next meeting.

If you have any questions about this meeting, or would like to join the working group but can’t make it on the 17th let us know on our Facebook event page, write a comment below, or contact us.

This meeting is Wednesday, February 17th from 7 to 9pm at the Self Help Center for Responsible Lending Temple Building, 302 W. Main Street.
